IIT ISM Dhanbad SRIS 2026

The Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad has released the official notification for the Summer Research Internship Scheme (SRIS) 2026. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements before applying.

Educational Qualification

  • Category-I: Students currently pursuing B.Tech
  • Category-II: Students currently pursuing Postgraduate courses such as M.Tech or M.Sc
  • Category-III: Students enrolled in B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, or MBA programs

Minimum CGPA Requirement

  • CGPA 7.5 or above for students from IITs, IISc, NITs, IISERs, IIMs, NISER, IIEST, CUs and GFTIs
  • CGPA 8.0 or above for students from other recognized institutes

Other Conditions

  • Candidates must not have any academic backlog
  • Students with disciplinary cases are not eligible
  • NOC from the parent institute is mandatory for Category-III applicants
  • Preference may be given to pre-final year students

Selection Process
