- 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / IT) with 50% marks

- 2-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics
Other Streams
- Passed 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks aggregate and 50% marks in English
OR
- Two-year vocational course with 50% marks

Sports Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill at least one of the following:
- Represented India in International competitions
- Achieved minimum 5th position in Junior National competitions
- Represented State/UT in Senior National competitions
- Participated in All India Inter-University competitions
Additional requirements apply for certain sports such as cricket, shooting, and chess.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process includes the following stages:
1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- 1.6 km run within 7 minutes
- 10 Push-ups
- 10 Sit-ups
- 20 Squats
2. Sports Skill Trials
Shortlisted candidates will undergo sports skill trials conducted by the Air Force Sports Control Board.
3. Medical Examination
Recommended candidates will undergo a detailed medical examination by the Air Force Medical Team.
Salary & Agniveer Package
Selected candidates will receive a customized monthly package with yearly increments.
