The Railway Recruitment Cell, Central Railway (RRC CR) has released the official notification for RRC CR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Through this recruitment drive, a total of 51 Apprentice training slots will be filled across various workshops and divisions of Central Railway.

Eligibility Criteria

Note: Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible for this apprenticeship scheme.

Selection Process
The selection process for RRC CR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be based on merit only.
- Merit List based on marks obtained in Matriculation and ITI
- Document Verification
Merit Calculation Formula
(Matriculation Percentage + ITI Percentage) ÷ 2
Tie-Breaking Rule
If two candidates have equal marks:
- Candidate with higher age will be preferred
- If age is same, candidate who passed matriculation earlier will be considered
Salary / Stipend
Selected candidates will receive a stipend during the training period.
